TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Vertex Sports and use of our website. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Orders

When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied to Vertex Sports is correct, including product choices, sizes, quantities, colours, names, numbers, logos, badges and other personalisation.

An order is accepted once it has been confirmed by Vertex Sports.

We reserve the right to contact you if further information or clarification is required before your order can be processed.

2. Prices & Payment

Prices will be those displayed on our website or confirmed in your quotation or order confirmation.

Any delivery charges or other applicable costs will be shown or agreed before the order is completed.

Where a payment schedule has been agreed for a club, team or custom order, payments must be made in accordance with that agreed schedule.

Production or dispatch may be delayed if an agreed payment is overdue.

3. Custom & Personalised Products

Many Vertex Sports products are made or personalised specifically for individual customers, teams and clubs.

This may include custom kits, personalised teamwear, names, numbers, initials, club badges, sponsor logos, custom colours and other bespoke designs.

Customers are responsible for checking all customisation details carefully before approving an order.

Once production of a custom or personalised product has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Custom-made and clearly personalised products do not normally carry the standard change-of-mind cancellation right applicable to many online purchases. This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.

4. Artwork & Design Approval

Where Vertex Sports provides artwork, kit designs, mock-ups or other visual proofs, customers must check these carefully before approval.

Please check:

• spelling of names and wording

• shirt numbers

• colours

• sizes and quantities

• club badges and logos

• sponsor logos

• positioning of personalisation.

Once a design has been approved and production has started, Vertex Sports cannot normally accept responsibility for errors that appeared in the approved artwork.

Where an error has been made by Vertex Sports and the finished product does not match the approved order, please contact us so that we can resolve the issue.

5. Customer-Supplied Logos & Artwork

By supplying Vertex Sports with a logo, badge, image, sponsor logo or other artwork, you confirm that you have permission to use it and authorise Vertex Sports to reproduce it for the purpose of completing your order.

You are responsible for ensuring that supplied artwork does not infringe another person's or organisation's intellectual property rights.

6. Sizing

Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate sizes when placing an order.

Size guides are provided to help with selection. Where sample garments or sizing kits are supplied, we strongly recommend checking sizes before confirming the final order.

Because personalised and custom-made garments are produced specifically to order, we cannot normally exchange them simply because an incorrect size was selected by the customer.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty or does not correspond with what was ordered.

7. Production & Lead Times

Lead times given for custom kits, teamwear and personalised products are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.

We will make every reasonable effort to complete orders within the estimated timeframe and will keep customers informed of significant delays.

During particularly busy periods, production and delivery times may be longer.

8. Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Please check your order as soon as it arrives and contact Vertex Sports promptly if anything is missing, damaged or incorrect.

9. Cancellations & Returns

For eligible standard, non-personalised goods purchased online, consumers generally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable exclusions.

Products made to your specification or clearly personalised are generally excluded from this change-of-mind cancellation right.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

All products supplied by Vertex Sports should be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose, as required by applicable consumer law.

If you believe an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us with your order details and, where appropriate, photographs showing the problem.

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

11. Club & Team Orders

Where one person places an order on behalf of a club, team or organisation, that person is responsible for ensuring that the information supplied to Vertex Sports is accurate and that the necessary approvals have been obtained.

For team orders containing multiple personalised garments, please check the final sizing, names, numbers and personalisation information carefully before approval.

12. Product Appearance

We make every effort to display products and colours accurately. However, colours displayed on screens can vary between devices.

For custom products, reasonable manufacturing variations may occur between digital artwork and the finished physical product.

13. Intellectual Property

The Vertex Sports name, branding, website content, graphics and original designs remain the property of Vertex Sports or their respective rights holders.

Content from our website must not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without permission.

14. Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites.

Vertex Sports is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or removes any statutory rights available to consumers.

We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when the contract was formed.

Consumer contract terms cannot legally remove rights relating to matters such as faulty or mis described goods, so this wording is deliberately much less sweeping than the liability disclaimer currently on your website.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The terms applicable to an order will be those in effect when the order is placed, unless a change is required by law.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these terms affects any rights a consumer may have regarding where legal proceedings can be brought.
